News from last month's meetings

We have suffered several member's deaths over the last month. Please keep the families of W.B. Richard Stephens, Bro. Donald Allen, and Bro. James Bickerstaff in your prayers and thoughts.

OurJob's Daughters nominee or the 25th Masonic District's Excellence in Youth Award was presented the award and honored at the recent Grand Master's Reception held in Geneva on April 12, 2008.

The Temple Board has brought back reports that they no longer have funds to manage the Temple during the short term because of the astronomical costs incurred during the winter because of rising natural gas prices. They are now working from check to check. Both boilers in the Temple are now inoperable but they are being inspected to see if anything can be salvaged.

It was noted by Bro. Larry Simons, our spearhead for our fund raising breakfasts, that help and mainly support for the breakfasts are needed the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month between 8 - 11:00 A.M.

We had the distinct honor of hosting the Niles McKinley - Newton Falls Lodges' annual joint Stated Meeting this year. We enjoyed a very good turnout of Brethren from both lodges and had the pleasure of listening to an informative talk about York Rite given presented by W.B. Raymond Brady from Ohio's Grand Commandery.
